You can help build the list by Rickrolling your friends and other bloggers. You can Rickroll as many bloggers in the blogosphere as you can. More Rickrolled bloggers mean more backlinks to your site as each blogger will have his/her own copy of the Rickrolled Bloggers list (’Recent Readers’) posted on their blog. Thus increasing your blog’s Link Popularity and Technorati Authority. (See? It’s Ho Lee Rickrolling with benefits!)

Auto-updating Link List
Your copy of the list automatically updates whenever a new blogger joins the Rickrolling. No need for you to manually update your list. (In order for your copy of the list to auto-update itself, you need the script/code below.)

Let’s Roll!
To join this madness, you just have to do 3 simple things:

  1. Copy the header script below and paste it into the header template of your blog:

    For WORDPRESS

    1. Go to your Admin Dashboard > Presentation/Design > Next, click on the “Theme Editor” tab and you’ll see the list of your templates in a column on the right-hand side of the page. Click the header template (header.php) to open/edit.
    2. Locate the head tag, which may look this…

      <head>

      or this…

      <head profile=”http://gmpg.org/xfn/11″>

    3. Now place the header script just below the head tag like this…

      <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://www.holeechit.com/holeechow/header-peeps.js”></script>

      Click Save or Update File. That’s it!

    For BLOGGER

    1. Go to your Blogger Dashboard, click the Layout icon next to your blog’s name. (For Old Blogger: Click the Template tab and you’ll be editing your template). Then click the Edit HTML tab. The large text box contains your entire template.
    2. Locate the head tag. Right near the top you’ll find a line that looks like this…

    3. Now paste the header script into the template (just below the head tag), so that it now looks like this…

      <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.holeechit.com/holeechow/header-peeps.js"></script>

      Save your template. That’s it!

    The script also works with other blog platforms.

  2. Create a new blog post for this Rickrolling and Copy>Paste the code below: (Don’t forget to switch your editor to HTML mode before you paste the code)

    Give your post a title that conveys the gist of the story. Something like “Security Camera Footage Of An Alien Abduction” or “Alien Abduction Caught On Tape!“.

    After publishing your post, tag/invite two bloggers (or more) to see your post and let them get Rickrolled. :p

  3. Now add your Name and your Blog’s URL to the Ho Lee Rickrolled List of Fame below. That’s it!
